About Petoskey Sewing Center

Since 2013, we’ve been providing the Petoskey, MI, area with a full line of innovative sewing, embroidery, serger, and quilting machines by brand leaders such as BERNINA, Baby Lock, and Handi Quilter, as well as a large assortment of sewing machine parts and accessories, and high quality sewing cabinets.

Owners, Scott Kreta and Ford Luhrs, have over 30 years of industry experience, along with a goal to inspire all those who wish to increase their knowledge, skills, and passion for sewing. Our store welcomes stitchers of all skill levels, providing classes, one-on-one instruction, and ongoing support to help them bring their creative ideas to life, whether they’re sewing garments, making home décor items, or trying their hand at machine quilting.

We’re proud to offer the best machine service in the industry. Our factory-trained personnel specialize in the maintenance and repair of ALL sewing machine makes and models. All services are performed in-house in a prompt, professional manner, and returned to the owner in peak operating condition.
